Zhu Li Tea House is a tea house in Taipei,
where Taiwanese tea culture meets vegetarian cuisine.
Zhu Li Tea House was established in 1996 by Mr. Hao-Jan Huang,
who has a deep passion for Taiwanese tea,
especially the traditional Taiwanese Tung Ting.

In 2014, the founders and the team started experimenting with vegetarian cuisine
and realized that vegetarian cuisine is a perfect match for Taiwanese tea.
Over the years, we have created vegetarian dishes that transcend the of meat and vegetables.
We hope to convey the beauty of local tea culture in the style of a vegetarian teahouse!

Since our founding, we have changed in many ways,
but our love for Taiwanese tea has never wavered.
Our tea leaves come from our directly contracted tea plantations
and are carefully roasted by our owner.

The taste of tea is subtly different depending on
the climate of the year in which the tea leaves were plucked,
the degree of roasting of each batch, the method of brewing
and even the mood of the person brewing the tea.
Our shop tries to convey the experience of appreciating each brew,
and most importantly, each and every encounter we have while brewing tea.

As you walk through the leafy garden and enter Zhu Li Tea House,
you would not only taste our delicious vegetarian dishes
but also enjoy our exquisite handmade palace desserts
while brewing a pot of tea with our carefully selected and delicately roasted tea leaves.
